Whitley announced to the club that Doug Paine passed away Sunday the 13th.  He opened up the discussion of a reigniting a suggestion that was made by Doug to link the 2M and 450 radios on Sillusi followed by linking to a new radio placed on Carney Butte.  Jeff suggested forming a sub-committee to investigate the opportunity of creating a linking of radios on both locations. Whitley, Will, Emery, and Don are named to the subcommittee and will report back at the next meeting.  Jeff Sak would like to be kept in the loop.

There is interest in getting a 3rd Yaesu repeater as a backup.  This will also provide an opportunity to upgrade the current repeaters while keeping all system active and provide a long term backup.  Will is to contact Yaesu to determine if there are deals available for new and/or options and costs for purchasing a refurbished repeater.
